I haven't seen many serious gamers in southern utah... me and a group of friends have dedicated some of our summers to LAN parties and online gaming, but in Southern Utah they do not offer a good internet connection unless you are willing to pay the $1,000 for T1 access... are we the only group that likes LAN parties? or is there a Number of people that would like to do a LAN party but don't know how... I am willing to start one if I get enough replies

Question

Maybe if more of us understood what types of games are available, there might be more interest. However, if NAKED TWISTER is an option, I'm in! (I do reserve the right to deny participation based on any number of cosmetic preferences.) Please provide more data....

NeMz:

Might I suggest you spend your $1,000 on tuition. It's nice to know you've dedicated your summer to something, but I think dedicating yourself to learning some principles of economics and mathematics would serve us all better.

Rock on.

Thumbs up

Sorry in advance for the long post. However, I think this is good info for those gamers out there.

I actually went to this event a few months ago and I must say it was a lot of fun. Free pizza, gaming and prizes.

Red face

So, JB, what you are saying is "No NAKED TWISTER!" Hmmmm, well, in that case, I'm out! Just as well. I didn't want to play with anyones grammer or granper anyway. Come to think about it, Sally Struthers would have been a "pass" as well.

We know you're not a forum Junkie, you're a rookie boy. And, if you don't know who Sally Struthers is then you need to get out more.

On a more serious note, we Forum Junkies (as you call us) are tough on rookies but we're just as tough on each other from time to time. The only difference is rookies run after a few posts and the rest of us use this forum as a release. So take the rookie lumps like a man.

Hey Whatcha, Sally Struthers just called and said your diploma is ready.

Bwaaahahahaha!!!

Maybe the reason we think that is so funny is that we are afternoon talk show junkies instead of being upscale "gamers."

Ever watch afternoon TV? Holy crap. There are three kinds of commercials on...ITT Technical Institute, Weight Watchers, and Robert J. Devry. That tells me that the networks have their audiences pegged...overweight, unemployed people looking to sue someone.

Ain't capitalism great!
