Re: Wanna Learn Arabic

You don't have to leave the country to learn Arabic. Just come to Dearborn, Michigan.

"Dearborn is home to over 29,000 Arab-Americans, the second largest population within the U.S. (New York, New York has nearly 70,000). Arabs first settled here to work in the automotive industry. In January 2005, a new Arab American National Museum opened as a result of this large concentrated population. The city is also home to the Dearborn Mosque. Because of the Arab influence in Dearborn, store signs and billboards written in Arabic are common sights."

Thumbs up Re: Wanna Learn Arabic

Yes thats true, Syria is the best place for arabic students. I had courses in a small class at Damascus Language School For Standard Arabic, very efficient courses and private lessons. Try (www.standard-arabic.com). They have also nice rooms to stay.

Re: Wanna Learn Arabic

Right, fiddler, and we should have a federal law stating that fact very clearly!

If you can't speak English and don't like our culture, don't come here- we won't miss you a bit.

If America is so great that folks do want to leave their country and come here, and America is that great!, then don't try to change our country to be like the rat-hole you crawled out of- it was great before you came and it will be better still without people like that.

Now if we could only convince our 'leaders' of America's greatness. Most of them, in all three Branches of our government, should move to a foreign country!
